Forever Friend

"Sometimes in life, you find a special friend. Someone who changes your life just by being a part of it. Someone who makes you laugh until you can't stop. Someone who makes you believe that there really is good in the world. Someone who convinces you that there really is an unlocked door just waiting for you to open it. This is forever friendship. When you're down and the world seems dark and empty, your forever friend lifts you up in spirit and makes that dark and empty world suddenly seem bright and full. Your forever friend gets you through the hard times, the sad times and the confused times. If you turn and walk away, your forever friend follows. If you lose your way, your forever friend guides you and cheers you on. Your forever friend holds your hand and tells you that everything is going to be okay. And if you find such a friend, you feel happy and complete because you don't need to worry. You have a forever friend, and forever has no end."

I agree with this because during your high school years you can really find out who is your friend and also you make new friends. I fell as through class of 2013 is a wonderful and forgiving class because everything that goes around in the sophomore class people argue but then they forgive. This poem relates to everyone because everyone has a best friend or at least someone they can depend on.

I came to Prendie with only a few really close friends and now I have so many more. In freshman year I made so many friends within the first full week of school. I didnt even think you could become so close with other people in that short amount of time. Im so thankful for the friends that I have in our class 2013! I hope my high school years dont go by as fast as everyone says they will.

This is my first year at Prendie and I have so many good friends. I think having a forever friend is important because high school is already hard enough and you need someone, besides your family, to help you out. I don't know everyone in my class but I can tell that everyone is really friendly with each other. I think that in grade school your just with the same people you have been with for years but in high school you come to be who your are and you have friends that are like that and love you just the way you are.

I was the only person from my gradeschool who came to Prendie. I knew a couple people but not many. I made so many great friends on my first day of school that are always there for me no matter what. I can count on them for anything. I love our class because i think we are all so close to eachother. If any of us needs someone to talk to there is always going to be someone there for you.

I agree with this. I was told upone entering high school that i would lose contact with grade school friends and i would most likely meet the greatest friends i would ever have during my four years at prendie. I didn't believe it when i was told this but it was true. I did slowly lose contact with friends from OLPH and i met many new friends through sharing the same roster and being on the same sport teams. I think here at prendie there is always a friend for everyone. People are so friendly in the hallways because in a way we are all "sisters". I can't say i have many best friends but i can say i have many friends. We are always there for each other.
